A massed choir of more than 100 voices will bring a modern-day message of peace and goodwill to Romsey Abbey on Tuesday 16 December with a performance of Stella Natalis by Karl Jenkins.
Best known for The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace, Jenkins is the world’s most performed living composer and celebrates his 70th birthday this year.
The 66-strong Barton Peveril College Choir will be joining forces with Wyvern Community Choir and Wyvern College Chamber Choir for the concert which will also feature individual items by each ensemble. The massed voices will come together for Stella Natalis in the second half of the evening before concluding with carols for all.
