Rugby duo make England squad
Rugby players Elliot White and Troy Cusack are celebrating success after being selected for the final trial of the England Colleges’ rugby squad.
The duo made it through a series of trials before being named in the England Colleges squad, from which an elite side will be selected. They will now travel to a selection and training weekend where they will be put through their paces by the England coaches with fitness testing, skills and drills and team sessions.
Elliot (left) and Troy, who both attended Wyvern School, currently play club rugby for Trojans as well as being forwards and backs captains in the Barton Peveril team. Both players have also tasted senior club rugby this season, delivering a consistently high level of performance, as well as leadership both on and off the field.
