Debating Society seeks national platform

The Debating Society chose Censorship of the Arts as the topic for its entry in the national Schools Questions and Answers competition run by Parliament’s Education Service.

The competition gives school and college students aged 14-19 the chance to work with BBC producers and presenters on BBC Radio 4’s Any Questions, or to produce a live BBC webcast.

The Barton Peveril entrants  must wait until January to learn whether they are among the winners and finalists and will have the chance to be involved in live editions of Any Questions, as well as a series of special Question Time-style debates for BBC Parliament.
