Usually taken in the second year, this Award comprises three units of coursework: Understanding the Nature of Volunteering; Teamworking; and Carrying Out The Volunteering Role.
It recognises the general skills and attributes that volunteers need to perform their roles effectively. Successful completion of the course (1.5 hours a week) will earn you 30 UCAS points!
