Enrich your learning
Enrichment is all about the additional courses and activities that help you get the most out of college life, expand your horizons, enhance employability and enable you to develop new skills and interests.
Sport, music, clubs and societies, volunteering and foreign trips all require self-motivation and nurture individual passions. Take a look at this film of Barton Peveril staff and students working at a project in Kenya to see examples of the energy and enthusiasm that make things happen for the benefit of others at home and abroad.
Getting involved will help you develop the organisational, leadership, communication and teamwork skills that really matter for good undergraduates or employees – and you’ll enjoy yourself too!
What can I do?
Whether it’s learning Japanese or getting a Duke of Edinburgh’s Award; becoming a qualified Community Sports Leader or taking part in the annual UK Rock Challenge there’s something for everyone. The programme varies from year to year with students actively encouraged to set up their own clubs and societies.
Enrichment also embraces the Extended Project, development of IT and other employability skills, competitions and intellectual challenges including Olympiads, Target 2.0 and other prestigious national events.
